When we're watching Kandukondain Kandukondain, this scene is what we wish to happen the most and it stays with us. Bala's selfless and innocent love for Meenu, finally gets the rewarded. Bala is insecure about his prosthetic limb and age gap. But Meenu who has once rejected Bala for the same reason, now falls for him. The film is an adaptation of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. It is a delight to watch Mammootty play such difficult characters and he does it with so much grace. If you're a fan of Aish, this is the movie for you. I've watched this film countless times, just to see her. The years of Working as a Cinematographer of Mani Ratnam has helped Rajiv Menon to be a better filmmaker. He has taken a flying leap from Minsara Kanavu. Ravi K. Chandran's cinematography is astonishing. I can't think of this movie without the songs of the maestro himself, AR Rahman.
