പൻമുൻജോങ്: ഉത്തര കൊറിയയും ദക്ഷിണ കൊറിയയും തമ്മിലുളള യുദ്ധം അവസാനിക്കുന്നു. യുദ്ധം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാൻ ദക്ഷിണ കൊറിയൻ പ്രസിഡന്റ് മൂൺ ജേ ഇന്നും ഉത്തര കൊറിയൻ നേതാവ് കിം ജോങ് ഉന്നും തമ്മിൽ ധാരണയായി. ഇരുരാജ്യങ്ങൾക്കുമിടയിലുളള സമാധാനഗ്രാമമായ പൻമുജോങ്ങിൽ ഇരുവരും ചേർന്ന് നടത്തിയ ചർച്ചയിലാണ് തീരുമാനം. ഒരു വർഷത്തിനകം യുദ്ധം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുളള നടപടികൾ പൂർത്തിയാവും.

ആണവ നിരായുധീകരണമായിരുന്നു ചർച്ചകളിലെ നിർണായക വിഷയം. കൊറിയൻ മേഖലയെ ആണവായുധങ്ങളില്ലാത്ത മേഖലയായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കാനും തീരുമാനമായി. യുദ്ധം കാരണം ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലുമായി ജീവിക്കുന്ന കുടുംബങ്ങളെ ഒരുമിപ്പിക്കാനും തീരുമാനമായി. ദക്ഷിണ കൊറിയൻ പ്രസിഡന്റ് മൂൺ ജേ ഇൻ ഉത്തര കൊറിയ സന്ദർശിക്കുമെന്നും അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
10 വർഷത്തിനുശേഷമാണ് ഇരുരാജ്യങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ യുദ്ധം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു സംബന്ധിച്ച ഔപചാരിക ചർച്ച നടത്തുന്നത്. 1953 ജൂലൈ 27 ന് കൊറിയൻ യുദ്ധത്തിനു താൽക്കാലിക വിരാമമിട്ട കരാർ ഒപ്പുവച്ചത് പൻമുൻജോങ്ങിലാണ്. ഇപ്പോഴാണ് ഔദ്യോഗികമായി യുദ്ധം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു സംബന്ധിച്ച ധാരണയായത്.
