കൊച്ചിയിലേക്കുള്ള ചെറിയ വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ ഇറക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്ന മറ്റിടങ്ങള്‍ പരിഗണിക്കും: സുരേഷ് പ്രഭു

ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: നെടുമ്പാശ്ശേരി രാജ്യാന്തര വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ വിമാനം ഇറക്കുന്നത് നിര്‍ത്തിവച്ച സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ എല്ലാ എയര്‍ലൈനുകളോടും തരുവനന്തപുരത്തു നിന്നോ കരിപ്പൂരില്‍ നിന്നോ റിഷെഡ്യൂള്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടതായി കേന്ദ്ര സിവില്‍ എവിയേഷന്‍ മന്ത്രി സുരേഷ് പ്രഭു. അടിയന്തര സാഹചര്യം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് രാജ്യാന്തര എയര്‍ലൈനുകള്‍ക്ക് അതിനുള്ള അനുമതി നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെ അറിയിച്ചു.

ഗള്‍ഫ് എയര്‍, കുവൈത്ത്, എയര്‍ ഏഷ്യ ബെഹ്‌റാദ്, മലിന്ദോ, സ്‌കൂട്ട്, സില്‍ക്ക് എയര്‍, തായി എയര്‍ ഏഷ്യ എന്നീ എയല്‍ ലൈനുകള്‍ കൊച്ചിയിലേക്കുളള സര്‍വ്വീസുകള്‍ ക്യാന്‍സല്‍ ചെയ്തതായും അദ്ദേഹം അറിയിച്ചു. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു പോയ യാത്രികര്‍ക്ക് സഹായമാകാന്‍ കോള്‍ സെന്ററുകള്‍ തുറക്കാന്‍ ഡിജിസിഎയ്ക്ക് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ട്വീറ്റില്‍ പറയുന്നു. രക്ഷാ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ട സഹായങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കാനും നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

കൊച്ചിയില്‍ വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ ലാന്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നത് ക്യാന്‍സല്‍ ചെയ്ത സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ചെറിയ വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ അംഗീകാരമുള്ള അനുയോജ്യമായ മറ്റിടങ്ങളില്‍ ഇറക്കാനാകുമോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കുമെന്നും ഇതിനായി സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരുമായി സഹകരിച്ചു പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. നെടുമ്പാശ്ശേരി വിമാനത്താവളം അടച്ച സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ കൊച്ചിയിലേക്കുള്ള ചെറിയ വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ കഴിവതും പഴയ വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ ഇറക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമോ എന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ സിവില്‍ വ്യോമയാന മന്ത്രാലയവുമായി ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍ നേരത്തെ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

അതേസമയം, കേരളത്തില്‍ വ്യാപക മഴ പെയ്യുകയാണ്. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇന്നു മാത്രം 29 പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. എഴു പേരെ കാണാതായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇരുന്നൂറില്‍ പരം ഇടങ്ങളില്‍ ഉരുള്‍പൊട്ടി. 20,000 വീടുകളാണ് മഴയില്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും തകര്‍ന്നത്. സംസ്ഥാനത്താകെ 1103 ദുരിതാശ്വസ ക്യാമ്പുകള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ചില പ്രദേശങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു. റോഡുകള്‍ വെള്ളത്തിനടിയിലാണ്. ട്രെയിന്‍ ഗതാഗതവും തടസപ്പെട്ടു. കനത്ത മഴയെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് സംസ്ഥാനത്തൊട്ടാകെ 45 മരണം റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തു. ഏഴു പേരെ കാണാതായി. 14 പേര്‍ മുങ്ങി മരിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ 26 പേര്‍ മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലിലാണ് മരണമടഞ്ഞത്. വീട് തകര്‍ന്നും മരം വീണും ഓരോരുത്തര്‍ മരിച്ചു.

Airport #Kochi is not operating flights as runway is flooded.We shall explore possibilities of smaller aircraft’s landing at alternate authorised landing places,will ensure all rescue operations will get full assistance from aviation ministry,will coordinate all with state Govt
